Apparently, gun lovers don't believe in freedom of speech

BBC has it too.

Like the bit in the 11th para about 2nd Amendment vs 1st Amendment - but then again he's not a US national so some will doubtless say he is not entitled.

The same applies to those that love software patents

They only believe in what *they* believe in.

Their brain is 'locked in'.

Anyone that does not agree with their 'locked in' brain,
is 'wrong' because they believe they are 'right'.

Any disagreement with their 'right' beliefs is attacked,
because it makes their 'locked in' brain hurt.

You are being MICROattacked, from various angles, in a SOFT manner.

They are not the only group which wants only its voice to be heard.

While I find the petition humorous, you do need to be aware that CNN has a very big agenda. Mr. Greenwald at the Guardian uncovered a small part of it:

All I have to say is where there is this much smoke, there's a blazing inferno somewhere.

As a fellow Brit, I agree 100% with Piers Morgan's position on gun control and
with his standpoint about freedom of speech. Even if I didn't believe that
gun-control works (our cops don't even routinely carry guns), I would defend his
right to speak his mind.

However, I think he broke the cardinal rule. PJ always tells us we should
attack the message and not the person. Piers was wrong when he called Larry
Pratt 'a very stupid man'; that just shows that he doesn't get it.

He either lost his temper or he was going for the publicity. Either way; he's
wrong in my book and has diluted the message and given the pro-gun lobby a
reason to draw attention away from the real issue.

Please present at least one example where I have ever challenged anyone's right
to speak freely, restrict anyone's rights, or tried to silence anyone's free
speech.

When you can't please remember, that it was you who has made the first
offensive, degrading, insulting, generalization that has no factual basis. The
same kind of behaviour that would condemn all Muslims because some are
terrorists. The same mentality that gave us those wonderful new TSA rules. The
same mentality that would call all users of Bit-Torrrent copyright infringers.
The same narrow-minded mentality that is constantly trying to destroy Free and
Open Source Software, and ultimately Free Speech.

Peace to you my friend and have a Joyous Christmas season.
