Experimenting with Your Privacy
Authored by: Anonymous on Tuesday, December 25 2012 @ 06:08 PM EST
I myself have a Facebook paint, with a very standard
portrait picture of myself. I never use it though and I have
only 3 friends, that I trust not to post anything on my
wall, just for show.

Why? Because I want prospective clients and/or employers to
find me, but not find anything weird. So far there is no
other on Facebook that shares my name, but still. I want to
controll what they find.

Other than that I have my own mail- and webserver and my
blog is anonymous and not on my own server (since the WHOIS
info is not anonymous ;-) )

I'm sure law enforcement could find me with some effort and
a warrant, but it's not them I want privacy from. I want
privacy from commercial parties and warrentless searches.
