I have found no evidence that any model
of the Galaxy Ace has never supported
that pinch to zoom feature.

It's important to distingush "pinch to zoom" from patent infringing

Apple do not and can not have a patent on the concept of
pinch to zoom, though they may have patents on some
technology relevant to certain implementations of it.

Of course the just didn't consider any of that, they just
ticked some boxes and left the others blank with no apparent
particular method or reason behind it, other than "punish
Samsung".

Huawei Ascend (various models)

Huawei Ascend, amongst other Huawei models, supports
pinch-to-zoom. My infatuation with this device is one reason
why I will not be visiting the US anytime soon. I'm not having
my phone confiscated at the border in pursuit of this lunacy.
