There are times when a jury is so off the
rails that it becomes a violation of
justice not to have a hearing and get to
the bottom of whether an instant case
is one of those times.

I think any justice system that allows
a defendant to have a pay a billion dollars
based on egregious mistakes of law ought
to reconsider its standards.

And that's why there is a concept of
jury misconduct. It does exist, as you are
aware. YOu think this wasn't one of those
times. I think it was.


So that's it.
