As stated in the first sentence in the article
you linked to, that patent was asserted in the
recent Apple vs. Samsung litigation, so: Yes. ;-)

i loved the post in the comments by nagromme. Apparently Apple
Insider's engine couldn't handle the default-enabled Unicode
from an Apple machine? kind of ironic.
