Linux does scale
Authored by: stegu on Monday, December 17 2012 @ 07:26 PM EST
The attacks on Linux in the 1990's and
early 2000's were often of the kind
"it's a toy OS unfit for real computers",
"it's made for single CPU, single user systems",
"nobody would trust Linux with serious work",
and "a free OS does not save you any money".
In retrospect, I suspect that most of those
comments were made by paid mouthpieces, but
they still had to eat their words.

I think this might be what the OP meant
with "and they said Linux doesn't scale".
