Many of you Linux affectionados will recall Hans Reiser .. There have been rumours and stories of late about John McAfee"

.. Yes, it's well known that Open Source affectionados are more likely to be serial killers than the general population, thank you for pointing this out to us ...

Weird Interview

What struck me about this interview, and I noticed it whacked
McAfee the first time (hadn't he been briefed?) was the use
of four interviewers in four different studios. Did that come from
some Latin American police manual?

Oh I didn't think of that. Microsoft often takes actions that don't apaepr to
be in their best interests in the broader scope, but might be construable as
beneficial in a narrow view. Killing off mono rather than supporting and
enhancing mono isn't a wise move IMO. Narrow view would be forcing more people
onto .NET on MSFT platforms. Wider view is removal of a cross platform tool
with the consequent loss of design wins for cross platform development
platforms I think this falls under the cutting off a nose to spite your face
paradigm. I am sure there are other possibilities as well. Good catch!
