One gets bored with how often affect creeps into parts of the English language
where it has no business.

Also calling McAfee's work Open Source is such a stretch that you're either
generalizing from one person (Reiser), channelling Darl or both.

Open Source aficionados more likely to be serial killers
Authored by: Gringo_ on Saturday, December 15 2012 @ 12:42 PM EST

I don't think that is the most logical conclusion to draw. Reiser was a programmer, but he was not a serial killer, AFAIK, so you can at most draw a connection between programmers in general and being a murderer, if you want to.

I hope you don't, as I am a programmer too.

I don't think Hans can be labelled as a serial killer.

More likely a file system killer, given his contributions
to the system. Did he even touch the RS232 code?
