The verdict will stand?
Authored by: Anonymous on Thursday, December 13 2012 @ 10:13 PM EST
Well the way I see it, if she throws out the jury verdict
there will be a retrial and if she doesn't there will be a
file for appeal. Either way the trial will go on.

Passing the buck

She seems to be passing the buck to someone else.

Given the complexity of this case and the likelihood that pretty much everything
she decided will be appealed, it makes perfect sense to me.

If she tosses the jury verdict it makes even more sense.

Anything unrelated to trial appears to be denied as moot
Authored by: Anonymous on Friday, December 14 2012 @ 11:02 AM EST
This was perhaps a easy pass for her since Apple added things outside the trial. It does appear similar to her recent denial of Samsung's expert declaration:
Because the Court has ruled that the declaration may not be filed at all, the request to file it and its supporting exhibits under seal is DENIED as moot.
