Nothing statically linked AFAIK. Maybe modified, but distributed according to
the rules. MacOS-X versions 10.0 thru 10.2 specified only
APSL and
Other as the licenses for included projects. With 10.3 the particular
license was listed for each, and
10.3.0 contains 43 GPL components, from
IOPCCardFamily-38 to texinfo-9. The newest version, 10.8.2 has 32
which is consistent
with
other reports that they are reducing
their
dependence on GPLed projects. Even iOS 6.0 still contains gdb-1822 and
libstdcxx-56.
The MacOS filesystem and command structure are
based on BSD with a mach-O kernel, but that doesn't stop Posix compliant GPL
projects being compiled
and
run. Note from the first link below you can
download the open source parts. A random one I chose, Libcpp_kext-8
contains a copy of GPL-v.2, and
various files in it have FSF Copyright
boilerplate.
