A couple of years ago I moved to a new place. I found that Google and every
other map had the streets wrong. Using Google Maps, I reported the problem to
Google. They sent an automatic acknowledgement and a few weeks later sent a
confirmation that it was indeed an error and sometime after that they sent
another email to inform me they had made corrections and asking me to check it
out.
I was fairly impressed.
I'm pretty sure they have a mechanism in their mobile navigation software to
collect errors. Every time I use my Samsung to navigate the program has an
option to report that I have NOT arrived at my destination.
