You'll probably still need IE and the associated ActiveX plugin, and I would be
very UNsurprised to find that one or both of these chunks of toxic slag did not
work properly under WINE.
But I'm willing to be proven wrong. So if this can be made to work, please let

Seems as though the USPTO should be sued,
possibly over being inaccessible to users that
are windows incompetent.
Seriously, if the webpage will not function properly
without Silverlight or .net junk, this is a serious problem
internally at the USPTO and is indicative of the level of
Microsoft infiltration by their moles.
