Yeah! Trouble is, the innovation is happening in the US court rooms, not in the
field of the patent. Imagine how much better things would be if the energy
expended in suing and defending against these patents was spent innovating!
Trouble is, the lawyers would lose out big time.

Courts eventually see argument in the absence of facts and law for what it
is. Meritless. The problem in our society is that it takes too long and costs

Didn't you read how it contributes $40 billion to the "industry"?*
Anything that generates $40 billion MUST be innovation!

People that can't see how the USPTO is a puppet right now still think that
patent protection leads to innovation like it did in the days of olde.

And these older folks "think they know" patent litigation is
benefitting innovation.
