I have seen this myself. I have only played with 2 iPhones
and it happened to both of them. I turned them on and the
start screen showed ready to slide to unlock. Nothing
happened for quite a few seconds. Now I know why.
Made me think how useless they are at the time. A bit like
booting windows on a computer. You can not do anything for
