Which probably intensely annoys the non-Hollanders.

Holland is to The Netherlands as England is to the United Kingdom. And just as
the Scots, Irish and Welsh object strongly to being called English, it wouldn't
surprise me at all if Netherlanders feel the same way.

(Never mind that the majority of both Scotland and Wales are settled by the
English, and as far as Scotland is concerned Sassenach == Angle == "lived
in Scotland before England even existed"!)
