Your and my definition of perjury does not necessarily equate to the Legal
definition.
The transcript makes for some very interesting reading and
while there were two individuals who were sworn in, Mr. Steele was -
unfortunately - not one of those. Probably because he was sitting in the
"peanut gallery" rather than at the plaintiff's desk.
I think it would
have been very interesting if the Judge had proceeded to have Mr. Steele sworn
in and then asked some rather pointed questions about his involvement. I'd love
to have seen something in the transcript like:
Judge: If your involvement is
non-existent, why were you talking to someone in the Court whose attention
should have been on me?
You keep interfering with my court room and
I'll have you arrested for contempt, do we understand each
other?
