My apologies.

I did not at all mean to say that Apple was not using weasel words. I meant to
give credit, and to agree that this is exactly what Apple did. I simply
identified one specific species of weasel, namely the negative pregnant, as
possibly being present in Apple's representations to the court. (In so doing, I
was adding to the 17 species of weasel listed in wikipedia.)

My repeated disclaimers were intended to make it clear that I do not have any
reason whatsoever to believe that anything like the Smoking Gun memo exists, or
that Apple's representations arose according to the scenario I suggested.
