Is this really a "no one knew" answer?

What means this:
"In connection with this declaration, Michael Jacobs and I surveyed the
litigation teams who have worked on this case at Morrison & Foerster and
WilmerHale ......"
Then
"We have not identified any attorney or other member of the litigation
teams who was aware that Mr. Hogan had been a party to lawsuits involving
Seagate until after the conclusion of trial..."
I am not a native english speaker. But does this not mean, that "Michael
Jacobs and I" did not identify any attorney.
But in fact, there could have been an attorney, that knew...
