I wonder if RMS knows that the audio of his keynote was actually streamed?
Authored by: Anonymous on Saturday, November 24 2012 @ 05:29 PM EST
I was watching using sliverlight, unfortunately.

I'm stuck on an MS platform for the time being and I'd forgotten to uninstall it
after the Olympics (although the plugin was diabled, at least). I was rather
upset that it was the only way for me to watch friends compete in real time. :(

At any rate, the audio was definitely streamed over silverlight, without any
apparent break in the stream. All that happened is that the video went off
while RMS was speaking. This makes me think that whatever format was used to
stream the video was also used to stream the audio of his speech.

BTW - thanks for your excellent report
