Whereas right now, they are forced not to be driving.

Sorry, couldn't resist it. The fact that I make a
joke about this does not mean that I do not take the
issue seriously. On the contrary, I find it appalling
that a culture can enslave half of their population
and bar half of their citizens from taking an active
part in society and get away with it - at least in
the short term.

In my opinion, anything worth taking seriously is
also worth making jokes about. Evil people generally
display a lack of a sense of humor, and humor is a
powerful weapon in winning the public opinion for
the good side. If more people were taking themselves
less seriously, I think we would have a better world
with less power being vested in people who are
obviously unfit to wield it.
