Tizen as middle ware

In effect then, you are saying that HTML5 will serve the role as the universal platform (without actually saying that, because Tizen is built on it), and I wasn't thinking. Of course that is the expectation for HTML5. However, HTML5 is not there yet, and there is a lot of squabbling to be done yet to complete the specification. Also, W3C standards move too slow to keep up with changing technology. Tizen is brand new. Android is already here, and now a mature platform. It would be OK with me if Android become the defacto standard. HTML5 will never equal it for sure. Of course Tizen is promising, but it doesn't address the vast, existing hoard of devices, of which Android runs directly on over 70% of. Android has the further advantage of neutralizing Win 8, whereas an HTML5 based platform helps Win 8.
