Richard Stallman, the first speaker, agrees with you.

Which is why his part isn't being broadcasted live, he is planning to post it
later in a non-proprietary fromat though, hopefully the rest will be posted in a
non-proprietary format later as well.

I was excited to watch this.
This is a lousy feeling. Why would anyone use silverlight? I
mean, flash is bad enough - why must they go and use
silverlight.

just to +1 the issue. No workaround seem to exist for GNU/Linux desktops...

This is rediculous

How can they think this is a good idea? However, they probably have no influence
on the local IT infrastructure, which is a point in it self.

It's like complaining about spelling mistakes while making them.

It's like stressing speed limits while speeding.

It's like promoting software freedom in a proprietary format.

Or is it a clever way of making the point?

Please email them and let them know.
HTLI at scu.edu

I see you can at least listen on YouTubeU.
But that's not much help for us.

This is so frustrating. I can't believe
they didn't realize this is an issue since
rms raised it.
