I think it's silly to consider that you can lie (under oath) during voire dire
to get on a case, ignore crystal clear instructions in order to deliver a
billion dollar groin-kick to a party against whom you obviously hold a grudge,
boast about it afterwards to anyone who will listen, and then get off with at
worst a "Very sorry, y'r honor, won't do it again y'r honor".

Never mind the parties, think of what he's cost the taxpayers. Why should they
have to foot the bill for his hubris?

If there are no consequences for doing this, what's to stop the next Hogan from
doing worse? Where's your threshold for when it's appropriate to sanction a
malicious juror?
