Google could do that really easily: Just redirect FairSearch to MS Bing. We
already know how good that one is though.

How to compete in the digital age

1) Launch with fanfare and hype
if unsuccessful
2) Lure people by payment
if still not successful
3) Create entity with alluring name and pump the lawyers

That #3 is even on the list is indicative of the problem with the modern
business environment.
Rather than going back to the drawing board an coming up with something
attractive that people want, these companies seek to force the market to hand
them a profit.
No wonder the lawyers make all the money and the developers make none (anymore).
