Yes, but with all the millions of dollars donated by the Bill and Melinda Gates
Foundation, that finds its various ways into the hands of the Law Enforcement
agencies, on a yearly basis, you would not suppose that there would be just a
tiny little bit of influence? Nope, of course that will never happen.
For
one, it would be a very tough case for anyone to 'prove' any such influence
despite the multitude of news stories available by way of Google. First, all
that 'data' out there is just hearsay. On the surface, to the the 'simple and
non-legal mind' like mine, it would only make sense to that the judges would
think more favourably towards Microsoft. But then we would be wrong. Judges
fortunately are highly trained in all kinds of legal matters and are therefore
quite immune to such things like 'free money' and 'political influence' from
mediating over their legal decisions. Thank goodness they have such good
training otherwise our entire legal system would be worth nothing at all. I
sleep very well at night knowing that this 'free money' problem is actually not
a problem at all, and that we should never have to worry about it.
