Yep - we (and analysts for that matter) have no idea what royalties android
OEM's pay Apple and Microsoft. Absolutely no idea at all - as you mention, try
finding a credible source for the $5 HTC-MS figure for example.

Basically, these articles are multiplying wild guesses together and pretending
it's meaningful. It's not.
