At this time, I have only a few words response.
Please - don't use
anything Google - just don't. It is
clearly not your thing. Use Bing or
whatever you want, but
please don't ever again use any Google products. [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

I'm no Google fan, but it's VERY clear to me that their services are and have
always been provided in exchange for advertising/data collection.
As long as they're being both careful and upfront about it I'm not sure what the
problem is?[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

that ms et al are compiling information dossiers on you via
use of their oses and related apps and websites? the
difference is that they hide their privacy intrusions in their
eulas. why are you singling out the one provider that is
pretty transparent about their policies as opposed to the
others?

48. The best book on programming for the layman is "alice in wonderland"; but
that's because it's the best book on anything for the layman.

It may be justified, but it's not the
solution. Did you not follow the
election? Did you ever hear such
malarkey in all your born days? Do you
seriously believe that those folks
can run or regulate the Internet without
destroying it?
If you don't like the semi-private and
proprietary gardens businesses offer,
stay out of them. If enough of us do that,
it will work.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
