..is Apple's UK website complying now?
Authored by: arnt on Friday, November 09 2012 @ 01:21 PM EST
..at the very bottom of "apple.co.uk", which redirects to:
http://www.apple.com/uk/?cid=oas-emeia-domains-apple.co.uk ,
I now (Fri Nov 9 19:11:19 CET 2012) find the following
text:
"On 25 October 2012, Apple Inc. published a statement on its
UK website in relation to Samsung's Galaxy tablet computers.
That statement was inaccurate and did not comply with the
order of the Court of Appeal of England and Wales. The
correct statement is at Samsung/Apple UK judgement.", where
"Samsung/Apple UK judgement" points to
http://www.apple.com/uk/legal-judgement/

..it's closer, but does this now satisfy the last scornful
order from the Court of Appeal?

www.apple.com/uk/ downloads thirteen javascripts and six stylesheets,
530kB of code to be interpreted on a page with only 428kB payload
of visible pictures, 11kB html code rendering to 588 text characters.
I'm sure I could make it much cleaner than that.

Apple wants that you -must- have javascript -on- so you can enjoy
all the juicy fulsomeness of their product placements.
[and yes, I understand the ambiguity of fulsome]
