I haven't had much of that since a 1990 experience on some mac or other
trying to print a remotely-assembled file from 3 or 4 computers over the
internet and feeling like I was in a corridor with glass walls......for some
reason the OS designers hadn't thought that I might not use the Mac to
create a postscript file....with the last step being to run DVIPS on a file that

started out in TeX..

After several hours of frustration, someone finally mentioned that we
needed an app for that, after which it was trivial.

Troll, or Wicked Witch, or Grinch, or something similar distinctly needs to
be in the adjectives we use to describe Apple.

How about Patent Grinch Apple?
