Excuse me, but 'most popular?' ... ?!?!?
Authored by: mcinsand on Thursday, November 08 2012 @ 11:46 AM EST
>>That's a desktop OS (most popular in the world) against >>a pure mobile OS. Maybe we need to check on some of the wording, especially when the following words confuse the obliquely-referenced 'desktop OS.' The desktop OS with the greatest market share is MS-Windows, but it isn't even popular with the Windows users. There is a huge difference between something being widely-used and popularity. As for most popular, that would have to be either Linux or OSX. Linux users truly enjoy their OS flavors, so I do not hesitate in calling Linux more popular than Windows. As for OSX, I'm not sure whether we can accept cult brainwashing as popularity.
