Why Vote for Sweden?

Excellent way of redirecting politics into legal discussions :-)

The Guardian had excellent article about the mobilisation of the lawyers a few days ago.

My prediction for the election:

The winner will find that he won a few weeks before the next presidential election. In the mean time a whole series of politicians will have to stand aside in order to fight their lawsuits. Caretaker President Vilsack (D) will do what he wants with impunity.

  • Real Christmas trees will be compulsory in every American Household (Jewish households will be permitted to have them at Hanukkah or Christmas; muslim organisations will be asked to identify their own appropriate date).
  • Genetically engineered grass in football fields will attract tax reductions worth more than twice the cost of the building they are in
  • The "designated survivor" will be Kathleen Sebelius ; the two will never meet again and rumors will abound that she was chosen to help stop her warning about Soylent Red.

Of course, once you have seen the presidential order of succession you can have fun with thinking up reasons to exclude any person
