Ever Heard of the EU 'Single Market'?
Authored by: Anonymous on Monday, November 05 2012 @ 04:02 PM EST
The whole of the EU is a single market.

Apple does have a legal presence in the UK. Just search for them on the
Companies House DB.

However the very favorable Tax regieme in Eire makes the like of Apple,
Microsoft, Adobe and a whole raft of others base themselves there for the whole
EU.
All of them use complicated and legal measures to minimise the amount of
corporate taxes they pay in the EU. Personally, I think this is wrong and they
should pay their fair share of taxes locally.

Then again, I think the US Gov should look at the way Microsoft avoids pretty
well all corporate taxes by basing itself in Nevada which has a zero rate on
corporate taxes.
