Both
Salon , and
Seattle Times have a brief meaningless piece on
"how" the poll was conducted. Fortunately AP-GfK themselves have
published the page which HuffPo copied, and on
that page is a link to
Download Topline, which is a PDF of the formal poll numbers. I'll leave
it to experts to analyse the
entrails... [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

35% thought Win8 would be an improvement, 36% thought not;
of the 1186 respondents 10% had never used Windows. 36% had
never used MacOS, 21% had never used a touch device;
22% have no desktop or laptop at home, of those who do
80% run Windows (no version listed), 12% Apple (sic),
3% Something Else (sic), 4% Don't Know;
23% of respondents claimed no religious affiliation;
37% lived in suburbs;
45% shared their cellphone with one other person.
The back of the report has a lot of data on political and religious beliefs
but no linking of this to computer usage preferences.
