Global warming is an easy question

As I said, there is fraud on both sides, that being one. I actually think that there is a very big problem, but possibly not what we are being told. What we don't know is whether reality will be worse, better, or as bad but in a different way, as the predictions.

What everyone, except a few governments and the oil industry, should be able to agree, is that it is definitely safe and much better to reduce emissions. That should be beyond any form of dispute, scientific or otherwise, except to that strange breed of sub-humans called politicians who can accomplish amazing feats such as declaring that pi=3.00000.

What no-one is saying is what "green" energy such as wind turbines, tidal schemes etc, is going to do to the environment. They gloss over that as if the effects are negligible, which is almost certainly not true. And, cynical products of marketing men such as the Toyota Prius are demonstrably less green than more mundane alternatives, but present a nice opportunity to extract more money from the gullible.
