Were not told to apologize just declare no infringement

They were told to publish in not less than 14 point type that Samsung did not
infringe their design. If they don't do that then look for fireworks. Apple like
M$ don't seem to realize that the UK and Europe are not the US. I have a
suspicion that if this case had gone to the Courts in Scotland (different laws
there) then Apple might have suffered a worse penalty. They can add damages
there which are not available to the English/Welsh courts . I'm told that there
is no appeal from a senior court judgement in Scotland in this sort of case. A
certain airline found that out the hard way.

What if Samsung pointedly go back to the Judge and ask "shoukld we sue for
libel?". Bit disastrous for Apple if the Judge then says "by all
means - add it to the current lawsuit."

Cheers,
Wol
