This is just the beginning. There are scads of IT companies out there that are
offering "cloud based services, managed services, and the like" just
waiting to be hacked by a criminal. And it isn't limited to small IT shops
either. Large ones have been hit lately also. Sorry, just a rant from a
retired IT guy.

Haven't you read the latest decision on the Sony class action?

Obviously nobody 'promises' to make your data secure, only to take reasonable
care (which in the Sony case means having outdated versions and not applying
security patches for over a year).
