I find it ironic that both campaigns place a major emphasis on domestic jobs.
While I'd hate to see Apple iPnones assembled in the us mainland under the
working conditions that are reported to persist in the Chinese factories, from
the "jobs" viewpoint, most of the jobs aren't on our shores. And both
campaigns conveniently ignore this aspect of the issue.
And both campaigns make an issue of "theft" of our "ideas"
by others, particularly the Chinese. Another irony is that we involve them
deeply in the realization of the "ideas" into a product. Then buy it
in vast quantities. All the time we act outraged when some of the
"ideas" find their way into their own competing products.
Go figure.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

I suspect Samsung employs more US voters than Apple does!
