A cautionary word

And who comes out looking better in that exchange?

The people who refuse to read the facts of the situation, of the people who keep
pointing out the facts of the situation?

Personally, I think the call for a "point team" was made by someone
with an agenda to get on and subvert that team. That's the simplest way to
dodge moderation: to be the moderator.

I'm afraid, if I have no way of identifying a poster, I have no hesitation in
calling someone a troll.

I have an account, I sign all my posts, and sometimes I take a contrary view
(witness my recent spat with the peanut gallery :-)

I'd be very wary of calling someone I recognised a troll. But abusing a sig is a
perfect excuse for PJ to kick someone off Groklaw. And not having a sig or
account is immediate grounds for suspecting a troll. It might not be easy to get
an account but seriously, how much work is it to sign your posts?

Cheers,
Wol
