Stop the bogus patent bullies!
Authored by: Anonymous on Wednesday, October 24 2012 @ 12:41 AM EDT
Unfortunately, this is merely the tip of the iceberg. There are many, many more
bogus software patents out there that will be used to attack any open source
success story.

As time goes on, I think we will find that both Microsoft and Apple have their
pawns, bishops, knights, and trolls. To them, it's a chess game as they try to
legally squash any competition they can (without taking on the legal definition
of illegal).

For us, on the other hand, it's a matter of freedom.

All we can do is hang on and hope that the supremes get a clue as to what is
going on, realize that this is abuse brought on by bullies, realize that this
effects our liberties, realize that this effects a new-comer's ability to
compete in the market place, and put a stop to it.
