Apple's Licensing Offer To Samsung Raises Questions About FRAND Rates and What's Behind the Attacks on Google ~pj

That's going to cut Apple's damages more than a notch, but it will take forever to resolve the issues now. There will be appeals and counter-appeals to the USPO decision, during which perhaps results on other patent appeals will start coming in (if any), and all this on top of all the appeals of the jury trial that we can expect. It could take many years before any money changes hands, if any.

What is especially good about this decision is, I believe that patent impinged on not just Samsung, but on Android. Is that true, anybody know?
