Do you realize how weak that statement is? It's a safe bet that, if there were
any significant changes to Unity, they <b>had</b> to make a
significant improvement! Sorry to jump on the stomp-Unity bandwagon, but I
really thought everyone was over-reacting... until I actually tried Unity out
for a couple of days. Not every idea works out, which is the huge selling point
of FOSS. If you are one of those that likes Unity, great. If not, then

I happen to agree with you.. Unity has improved quite a bit. When it was first
forced on us it was awful. Now I kinda like it. There is still much missing,
but I'm no longer violently opposed to it :)
btw, watch out b/c SpaceLifeForm is going to call us trolls after talk like
