Spam filters change over time

Indeed. Thing is, the filter is supposed to learn when I tell it that something
isn't spam. How many times?

Google and evil...
Authored by: Anonymous on Thursday, October 18 2012 @ 07:43 AM EDT
Agreed, Google has a scary amount of potential to do some really nasty things.
I'm just hoping whoever Larry and Sergie's successor is keeps them on the right
track so I don't need to start hosting my own email server.

That's the really scary thing about Google, imo: that they get taken over by
someone with a "modern management" philosophy.

Clear & simple order confirmation?
Authored by: ailuromancy on Thursday, October 18 2012 @ 01:19 PM EDT

Are Amazon order confirmations short plain-text e-mails listing what you bought, how much and what type of delivery? Are they huge HTML pages covered in Javascript and adverts for things they think you ought to buy? (I avoid Amazon because of their high prices, but there are others I stopped dealing with because they insisted on hiding order confirmations in a swarm of adverts.)
