If it's his own he should have got a Nexus 7, but each to their own ...

Several browsers for Android can be configured to appear to be iPad or

OK, I use Ipad on the toilet instead of reading a magazine.
At least I can disinfect its screen!
My daughter talked me into it two years ago as I was dead set against Apple
products. I don't think the Nexus tablets were out then and there was this
Apple store around the corner with Sasha Baron Cohen filming the Dictator. (How
appropriate!) This gave us an excuse to watch from the inside the filming of
some minor part of the movie.
I still hate about 75% of Steve Jobs and what he stood for. The other 25% is a
fairly cheap and well designed machine that worked with nothing for me to do
other than recharge it.
I still refuse to buy Itunes or any Apps from the Apple store.
