There is this subject called philosophy. Which is the study of reason and logic.
Which tries to provide answers to deep questions like "what is
mathematics" "what is science" "what is reality".
And when Judges start making rulings that have no basis in logic and reason,
when they are trying to be logical and reasonable, then they are going to get
themselves into a massive illogical and unreasonable mess.
The courts NEED to get this right otherwise the mess will only get even more
illogical and unreasonable.
Cheers,

Not a question of law. It should, properly, be decided by expert witnesses.
Similarly with other questions, like "what is an abstract idea" and
"what is mathematics"
For some idiotic reason, these have been (incorrectly) treated as matters of law
which judges can decide without expertise. PoIR is trying to fix that.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
