found-in-ipad-3-macbook-pro.html
Someone was given a patent on PCM-with-an-LED. I wonder, did PCM predate the
transistor: can any old tube men give examples of PCM done wiht vacuum tubes?
The only thing I can think of is if their ideas of feedback contain anything
beyond a phototransistor/photodiode/LDR or simple current/voltage metering,
which are the ways I, as a non-skilled-in-the-art random-person-on-the-internet
would suggest for getting a constant output from an LED array.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

I think Google is extremely moral.
What can they do to be even more open so as the head off an antitrust
lawsuit?
Please make suggestions and we can forward them to Google.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

I would not be happy with the ABA claiming they represent my
opinion on copyright issues.

Obligatory link otherwise someone will rightly complain. I would
have thought that Murdoch had a cheek calling someone else a scumbag.... [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

This is a movie studio guy, even if his studio is said to be one of the most
successful for indie films, in the end he is still just a business guy wanting
more money. He is known to see opportunities and aggressively fight for them. I
suppose he sees online distribution as a threat to his studio, and a possible
opportunity to make some noise about it now.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

FTC
Trade Commission Chairman Jon Leibowitz
In the private sector,
Leibowitz served most recently as Vice President for Congressional Affairs for
the Motion Picture Association of America
I am astounded that a
company would have such a VP position.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
