Yes, like that, but this discussion is all off the point I originally meant to make. I was typing my comment in on my smart phone, which interacts poorly with Groklaw's comment input text box. After a few lines, it gets very difficult to scroll up and make edits.

Anyhow, had I finished my original comment, I would have tied my personal experience back to the original point, which was: How ridiculous it is that somebody (Apple) could have a patent that dictates when you are allowed to use an heuristic, or how many, or where. That is just absurd!

Of course one would use different kinds of heuristics depending on the content being searched. We really need to take a closer look at that patent. Who is Apple to tell me when to use an heuristic or not?
