For any idea of board members (at Nokia) feathering their own nest (through
Microsoft destroying Nokia) would require positive proof of a conspiracy.
Absent such proof, board members may be removed for making a really bad call but
will not be charged with criminal conduct. The board (member) could plausibly
claim to have made the decision in good faith based on the information they had
at the time.
I'm not saying some or all board members couldn't have personal financial
reasons to act as Microsoft's axemen but proof would be required to make it
stick.
But, honestly, to imagine Nokia's board, in part or in full, agreeing to
strangle Nokia to raise the value of their Microsoft shares... Nah, it's a bit
too Machiavellian in a Russian Roulette kind of way...[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
