Whose Army?
Authored by: Anonymous on Tuesday, October 09 2012 @ 11:26 PM EDT
That's what armies do, rape, pillage and plunder, but since both
Bitcoin and the US Dollar are fiat currencies I miss your point.
I do have a piece of green printed paper here that
"certifies there is on deposit in the United States Treasury
Five Dollars in Silver." Im not sure it's still valid...

FUNDS are an abstract construct in the first place

> The sole difference between Bitcoin and US Dollars, is an
army willing to rape, pillage, and plunder, to prove that
latter is not fiat currency.

That would be incorrect, the army has little to do with the
difference between Bitcoin and US Dollars. The bigger
difference is the ability of the IRS to imprison US citizens
for not paying taxes, and the US government only accepting US
Dollars for taxes. The US Government does not accept Bitcoins
for taxes.
