Actually, from what PJ said, it sounds like the case was NOT a slam-dunk. It had
hit the barriers of time out. Novell was trying to resurrect a case that was,
technically, dead.

Shame - it shouldn't have got to that - but it was all tied up with the DoJ
ant-trust case which messed things up for Novell (plus a lot of stuff that came
out then suddenly made Novell realise that a lot of MS's actions were
malicious...)
