Again, I feel that the Seagate suit is a red herring. The more salient point is
that Hogan lied during VD when he said he could set aside his previous
experience, and apply the law as instructed by the court, not by his
experience.
There is plenty of evidence, from Hogan's own mouth, that he lied about that.

I may be wrong, but this is my take on it:
That he worked for Seagate
isn't the problem.
The problem is that he consciously did
not bring up, for whatever reason (speculate at will -- it isn't
important), during
voir dire, the lawsuit that he had been involved
in with Seagate.
